Compatibilities with other compressors/protectors

Code Virtualizer slightly modifies the PE header of your original application, making it appear like if the application were not protected at all!

If you want to reduce the size of your final application (or protect your whole application with another protector) after protecting your sensitive code with Code Virtualizer, you should be able to put any Win32/Win64 compressor/protector on top of Code Virtualizer.

In case that you have incompatibility problems

If you select to add the Code Virtualizer code inside the last section (Location of Protection Code) and the relocation section is the last one, there would be a problem if you put a protector on top and and that protector removes the relocation section (to decrease the size of the protected EXE file). To solve this issue, we recommend to enable the option Strip Relocations or select not to remove the relocations section when using your compressor/protector.

If you want to fully hide the presence of Code Virtualizer from an external analyzing tool, you can select "Stealth Mode" in the Location of Protection Code option. With this option, you should not have any problems at all if the file is later protected or packed.
