Why are some Portuguese strings inside STR_ENCRYPT macros not recognized?

Code Virtualizer checks for printable characters to determine whether a pointer refers to a string. This check may not recognize some Portuguese characters when the default locale is active.

Change the string-encryption locale as follows:

  1. Edit CodeVirtualizer.ini and add this entry under [General]:
StrEncryptLocale=Portuguese
  1. Restart Code Virtualizer. Open the Protection Macros panel, select the STR_ENCRYPT macro, and verify that the strings are recognized.

You can also set StrEncryptLocale to another language, such as Russian or Spanish.
