SecureEngine Macros¶
Add SecureEngineĀ® macros to your source code. During protection, SecureEngine finds each macro and applies its corresponding operation.
The available macros are:
Named macros¶
Named macros assign a readable label to a protected block. Code Virtualizer displays this label in the Protection Macros panel and in protection progress messages.
The SDK provides these named start markers:
-
VIRTUALIZER_START_NAMED -
VIRTUALIZER_MUTATE_START_NAMED -
VIRTUALIZER_UNPROTECTED_START_NAMED -
VIRTUALIZER_STR_ENCRYPT_START_NAMED -
VIRTUALIZER_STR_ENCRYPTW_START_NAMED
Every available Virtual Machine also provides a VIRTUALIZER_<VM>_START_NAMED marker, such as VIRTUALIZER_TIGER_WHITE_START_NAMED.
Pass a non-empty, NUL-terminated UTF-8 string containing 1 to 255 bytes, excluding the terminator. Control characters are not accepted. A string literal is recommended so Code Virtualizer can recover the label reliably.
Named macros use the normal matching end marker. There are no END_NAMED markers.
