In Visual Studio 2017 and 2019, the debugger does not trace a function with VIRTUALIZER_START/END markers correctly

We contacted Microsoft about a Visual Studio bug that affects tracing through inline assembly, including START/END macro markers. The problem is not present in Visual Studio 2015 and should be fixed in a later Visual Studio release.

As a workaround, use a different macro insertion method. For example, try the ASM module method described in \Examples\C\VC (via ASM module).
